【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversrequirementsforpneumaticrotarydescalingmachinesforremovalofpaint,rust,scale,nonskiddeckcovering,andothercoatingsfromsteelandaluminumstructures.Theseportablemachinesareintendedforuseinamarineenvironment,subjecttosaltairandsprayduringuseandhighhumidityduringstorage.1.2Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththespecification.1.3Thefollowingprecautionarystatementpertainstothetestmethodportiononly,Section12,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Specificprecautionarystatementsaregivenin17.2.1.
