【摘要】:ThispartofISO15788specifiesamethodforthedeterminationofsteradienes,especiallystigmastadienes.Steradienesareformedbydehydrationofsterolsduringbleachingandalsopartiallyduringsteamwashinganddeodorization.Themethodisalsosuitableasascreeningmethodtodetectthepresenceofrefinedvegetableoilsinvirginoilssuchasvirginoliveoil.NOTEISO15788-1isthereferencemethodforthedeterminationofstigmastadienesinvegetableoilswhilstthispartofISO15788canbeusedasarapidscreeningmethod.Inviewoftheprecisionofthismethod(seeAnnexA),samplesofvirginoliveoilsclosetothelimitadoptedbyinternationalregulations(IOOC,EC)canbeverifiedbytheGLCmethodgiveninISO15788-1.
