【摘要】:Resilientfloorcoveringismadebyfusingpolymermaterialsunderheatorpressure,orboth,invariousmanufacturinganddecoratingprocesses.Thepolymermaterialmaybecompoundedwithplasticizers,stabilizers,fillers,andotheringredientsforprocessabilityandproductperformancecharacteristics.Theformulationofthecompoundcanbevariedconsiderablydependingonthedesiredperformancecharacteristicsandmethodsofprocessing.Lightstability,whichisresistancetodiscolorationfromlight,isabasicrequirementforfunctionaluse.Thistestmethodprovidesameansofmeasuringtheamountofcolorchangeinflooringproductswhensubjectedtoacceleratedlightexposureoveraperiodoftime(functionaluseoftheflooringproduct).Thistestmethodspecifiesthatasampleismeasuredbyaspectrophotometerandexpressedinx0394;E*unitsbeforeandafteracceleratedlightexposure.Note18212;Itistheintentthatthistestmethodbeusedfortestinglightstabilityperformancepropertiestobereferencedinresilientflooringspecifications.1.1Thistestmethodcoversaprocedurefordeterminingtheresistanceofresilientfloorcoveringtocolorchangefromexposuretolightoveraspecifiedperiodoftime.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
