【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversaprocedurefordeterminingthedegreeofbiodegradabilityoflubricantsortheircomponentsinanaerobicaqueousmediumonexposuretoaninoculumundercontrolledlaboratoryconditions.Thistestmethodisanultimatebiodegradationtestthatmeasuresoxygendemandinaclosedrespirometer.1.2Thistestmethodissuitableforevaluatingthebiodegradationofvolatileaswellasnonvolatilelubricantsorlubricantcomponents.1.3Thistestmethodisapplicabletolubricantsandlubricantcomponentswhicharenottoxicandnotinhibitorytothetestmicroorganismsatthetestconcentration.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecifichazardsaregiveninSection.
