【摘要】:Thistestmethodisbasedonfieldexperienceratherthanlaboratoryanalysis.Itprovidesabasisforthecomparativeevaluationofballistic/forcedentry/containmentresistanceofsecurityglazingsandsystemsandshouldnotbeusedtoestablishorconfirmtheabsolutepreventionofforcibleentriesorforcedexits.Thistestmethoddefinesthreefactorswhichdeterminethesuccessorfailureofanyattempttoforcefullyenter(orexit)theglazingorsystem.Theyare:(1)thetoolsemployed,(2)thetechniquesandmethodsusedbytheattackers,and(3)thetotaltimeavailabletoeffecttheentryorexit.Thistestmethoddefinestwoofthethreefactors(toolsandtechniques)andallowsthethird(duration)tovaryinordertoestablishlevelsofforcedentryorexitresistance.1.1Thistestmethodsetsforthprocedureswhosepurposeislimitedtotheevaluationoftheresistanceofsecurityglazingmaterialsandsystemsagainstthefollowingthreats:1.1.1BallisticImpact,1.1.2BluntToolImpacts,1.1.3SharpToolImpacts,1.1.4ThermalStress,and1.1.5ChemicalDeterioration.Note18212;Specificallyexemptedfromthistestmethodaretheuseofpower(motororengine-driven)toolsordevices,explosives,militaryordinance(exceptingsmallarms)andtools,processesordevicesrequiringmorethantwopersonstotransportandoperate.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Foraspecificwarningstatement,seeWarningin10.1.1.6.
