【摘要】:ThisservicedefinitioniscompliantwiththeUPnPDeviceArchitectureversion1.0.Thisservice-typeenablesmodelingofthe‘QosPolicyHolder’functioncapabilities.ThefunctionalityfortheQosPolicyHolderservicecanbeimplementedbyanydeviceonthehomenetwork.TheQosPolicyHolderserviceisresponsibleforprovidingthetrafficpolicyvaluesforanygiventrafficstreamasrequestedbyanentitythatmanageshomenetworktraffic.Thetrafficpolicyvaluesaredeterminedbyapplyingthepolicyrulesconfiguredforthehomenetworktotherequestedtrafficinformation.TheconfigurationandmanagementofhomenetworkpolicyareoutofscopewithintheUPnPQoSarchitecture[QoSArchitecture].IfthereisaQosPolicyHolder,thentheremustbeonlyoneQosPolicyHolderservicethatgetsadvertised(SSDPdiscovered)withinthehomenetwork.Ifmorethanoneserviceinstancegetsadvertised(discovered)byanentitythatmanageshomenetworktraffic,thenthatentitymustoperateasifnoQosPolicyHolderserviceispresentwithinthehomenetworkandoperatewiththedefaultpolicyrulesforUPnPQoS[QoSArchitecture].Thisdocumentdoesnotaddresstheprocedureforendtoendsetupofnewtrafficorrevokingofexistingtraffic.
